Here we are again after many years.  Finally ready to sell the last of my pristine acoustic collection. These last 7 guitars are the ones I have used for home/studio personal playing the past 15 years or so. All were chosen for their specific tone, playability, and beautiful condition over the years as the opportunity presented itself from a manufacturer visit or a local music shop on the road. These were my personal favorites and covered all the sounds, volume, and tone I ever needed, and were never used on the road and stayed safely in the studio. They are all in Excellent condition ranging from VG/EX to EX/NOS.
This auction is for September 2003 production, beautiful top of the line Larrivee OM 50. This guitar was positioned right behind the Martin OM-35 as the guitar of choice (Rosewood vs Mahogany sound) the last 10 years or so for personal playing and songwriting in the studio due to tone from enlarged sound hole in the beautiful lightly grained Sitka top and
advanced X-bracing instead of
Larrivee's normal symmetrical bracing with a wide nut for comfort.
What will surprise you for an 18 year old 2003 model – as almost new excellent condition with less wear showing than a music store wall hanger w/faint pick wear on guard, slight fret wear, and 1 pin sized indentation on the back and 1 hard to see finish indentation on front upper bout (n
either
though finish), with amazing maple binding contrast,
and
built quality and impeccable finish condition due with to perfect hydration and always in case storage.
All Solid wood Construction, Single Piece Mahogany Neck, Canadian Sitka Spruce Sound Board & Bracing, African Ebony Fretboard & Bridge, Canadian Maple Binding w/ Herringbone, Mahogany Back & Sides, Shifted Symmetrical Parabolic X-Bracing, Hand fit Dovetail Neck Joint, Enlarged Soundhole w/ Herringbone Rosette, Flat Top Headstock w/ Pearl Logo & Volute, Custom Milled Open Back Tuners, Ivoroid Fretboard Binding, Larrivee Custom Beveled Pickguard, Mother of Pearl Diamond Fretboard Markers, Traditional Angled Bone Nut.
