Description
System of a Down vintage shirt XL delta 1998 no flaws metal ozzfest. This is almost as if you bought it from the merch table. Very well taken care of. This is from my personal collection. Only flaw is that is has some fading in the shirt color from sun and washes. 24 years old. Original and rare. Long out of print. No holes, tears, rips, or damage. Sleeves are good and is a very comfortable shirt. This listing is for a collection of SYSTEM OF A DOWN rarities. These were all obtained by me as a SOAD fan. This batch is all from around 1998, around the time of the first album release.
Here's what's in this collection:
TWO (2) TICKET STUBS: From back to back nights: San Diego (Soma) 12/18/1998, and Los Angeles (The Palace) 12/19/1998. Both used (end tab missing).
STICKER: Promo sticker made by the record company around the time of the first album.
TOUR FLYER: Promoting the band on their tour with SLAYER and CLUTCH. I saw the show in San Diego.
PROMO CASSETTE: Focused on SLAYER, who headlined the tour, it features one song each by SOAD, SLAYER, and CLUTCH.
MINI FLYER: Postcard sized paper flyer for SNO CORE 2000 where SOAD played with INCUBUS, MR. BUNGLE, and PUYA. I didn't see this show, but I saw the night in Anaheim.
TWO (2) POSTCARDS: Two postcards for early 1998 shows. A 3-COLOR coupon postcard for the ROXY Show on 01/24/1998 and a (terribly made) postcard for the 03/02/1998 RHINO ROOM show. These are absurdly rare postcards, made by the SOAD street team at the time. Luckily, I am a natural collector and saved them.
CONDITION NOTES:
Check out the photos! (Grading is based on a careful examination of the flaws.)
TICKET STUBS: One is a bit faded. The other is only lightly faded along top row of information. Both used (piece missing), but in nice shape overall.
CASSETTE: Excellent, sealed, light wear in plastic wrap.
STICKER: Nice shape, unpeeled, with crease in center.
HANDBILLS/POSTCARDS: All nice. Flat and clean. The Son Core is on regular paper. The Rhino Room and Roxy are on card stock. The Rhino Room postcard has a phone number written on the back and is stamped with the address I put on the SOAD Street Team mailing list.
TOUR FLYER: Clean with minor dents and dings. A fold with a crease about 40% from the top and a fold without a crease about 20% from the top.
