Megaware SkegGuard
Megaware SkegGuard provides the best of two worlds. It will protect and prevent damage to your motor's skeg and can also be used to repair and replace an already broken skeg.
The Megaware SkegGuard is constructed of high quality marine grade 316 stainless steel. Additionally, it features an reinforced wear tab on the bottom where the skeg is most vulnerable. The 3mm thickened lower plate will withstand damage from rocks, debris and ramp dragging. The Skeg Guard conforms to your lower unit ensuring no discernible drag or compromise in performance. In addition, a drain hole prevents water from collecting and becoming stagnant.
Secured with self-locking hardware, installation takes less than 10 minutes. If you're replacing an already broken skeg, the Skeg Guard can be installed with as little as 2 inches of skeg remaining.
