The Ibanez AAD170CE features an all-new bracing pattern, a high-quality magnetic pickup, and quality tonewoods, making for a wholly satisfying acoustic-electric without breaking the bank. Its X-M bracing is the result of years of trail-and-error at Ibanez to deliver booming lows, snappy highs, and a warm midrange, all with a responsive, resonant in-hand feel that's furthered by a solid Sitka spruce top over Okoume back/side wood. The AAD170CE also comes with a Nyatoh neck with a "Low Oval Grip" profile, which, along with the body's Advanced Access Cutaway shape, make for a comfortable in-hand feel up and down its Ovangkol fingerboard. And thanks to an Ibanez AP11 Magnetic pickup and Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, it has a gorgeous tone even when plugged-in. Thanks to a confluence of quality tonewoods, electronics, and stellar in-hand feel, the Ibanez AAD170CE is a venerable acoustic-electric.
