Just a message to say thanks very much for your help with the armrest. I have to let you know that they have improved the tone and sustain of my acoustic guitar greatly and would recommend them to any guitarist looking to improve their sound..
Try a simple test. Take your instrument and get ready to play as usual. Now strum a chord. Next lift your strumming arm, at the shoulder, up off the guitar then strum again. Listen to the difference. By placing your arm against the top of the guitar, you lose between 15% and 20% of the power and projection of the top of the guitar!
The top is the main sounding board of your instrument. When you lay your arm on it, there is a dampening or muting effect. Violin, Mandolin, and Banjo players have been using arm rests for many years for these same reasons.
The arm rest is attached to the surface by means of a double-sided adhesive strip, developed to hold it securely without harming the delicate finish of your instrument.

Shes got some bumps and bruises but a solid,  pretty darn good guitar at a great price.  Comparable to Altamira in quality and sound.

Superficial flaws (see photos) - thin top cracks that have been repaired and solid, a few frets missing from fingerboard extension, some finish touch up on side near tailpiece.  If you look closely you can see evidence of the original 9th fret marker.  Light nicks and scratches.  The low E tailpiece post takes a loop end string because there is an old string stuck in the hole.  (probably could be removed)
The history: In 2007 Dell Arte USA created and  imported a new line of guitars from Musiclink.  These guitars were widely accepted as better sounding then the common gitane guitars.  The manufacturing later switched to Paris Swing which unfortunately were inferior to the nice boxes Musiclink had created.
