Hi and thanks for looking. This is a beautiful guitar in near mint condition. There are NO cracks, breaks or repairs to this guitar. It plays and sounds great with room to lower the strings if you require extremely low string height. It has the standard very comfortable modified V neck with a 1 3/4" inch nut. It comes with the unsigned owners card and original Case & Key. A lot of players feel that the Adirondack top and braces with the Mahogany body is a perfect combination. The guitar is warm and woody with great projection. It responds to the players hand. If you play it lightly, the tones are sweet and warm but if you play it hard it just gets louder and louder and louder. It does have a strap button added at the bottom heel of the neck. 1937 Gibson L 37 archtop. Stamp inside reads 840 batch # letter C =1937 ,sequence #20 in red pencil. This guitar had some major cracks in the soundboard which have been repaired with cleats. Also there was a hairline crack in the heel that has been glued and stabilized. The tuners are Kluson non original from that time period. The buttons could be replaced but they work fine.  The frets have had a light dressing probably originals. The saddle base is original but the saddle is newly made ebony . Original pickgaurd with hardware. The finish on the soundboard has been blended. Not perfect but looks ok for a player. All other finish is original. Plays nice. Has a great sound as a 37 Gibson should. Please look at pictures and ask questions. Thanks for looking.
