2016 Gibson SJ-200 1938 Reissue

Description

This guitar is in excellent condition with no scratches, dents or any other blemishes. It has been part of my collection and only used in my studio. It has a great punchy tight sound and looks stunning. I added an unbleached bone saddle and bone bridge pins with abalone dots. I have a spare pickguard as these hand painted pickguards can wear through with time. In the photos you may see some lines, those are unlit fluorescent tubes in my shop reflecting.
The King of the Flat-Tops recreated in the essence of an iconic 1938 model. Don't Judge a Book by its Cover!!!!
CF Martin CEO 7 that has had a difficult early life, but is an AWESOME player!!!  I got this guitar brand new...but there were issues!!!  Someone had kicked in the treble side of the guitar, damage which caused cracks in the treble side of the top of the guitar.  A little chunk of the treble edge of the sound hole edge was missing.  I received this guitar several years ago...
Fast Forward to today!!!
The cracks in the top have been repaired with cleats.  The hole in the treble side has been pieced back together and cleated for stability.  Nothing simple to be done with sound hole edge(I placed a Korg RIMPITCH here to hide the scar).  There are also two dents at the rear corner of the headstock.  The matte factory finish over the beautiful dark burst top has been removed with Maguires and you have an attractive glossy burst finish.  I have also added a strap button at base of the neck.  Hard to find model!!!!!  This is the first Martin that I have owned, I just picked up a 000 42 and a 0M 42 along with a Guild F 55 so something has to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
