This Capo is designed for 6 string “Lap” type guitars...with a very low string height. The ideal Capo for a Weissenborn, Dobro, Lap Steel, National ...the muting bar outside diameter measures 1/4 inch, so string spacing of any dimension over that measurement will allow this "Slim" Capo to work just fine. Your string height dimension should be measured at the first fret. ( top of the fret to the underside of the string at that fret position.
The Tone Bar is made from Hardened Naval Brass material.  The lower muting bar is made from 316 stainless steel, the stainless steel core has plastic sleeves over the metal core to provide the muting.
The tightening stud and nut are also made from hardened brass.
There is a Delrin washer and brass washer, placed between the tone bar and tightening nut face to create additional dampening.
These Capos produce a bright tone and long sustain and are easy to place on your guitar.
