For sale we have:
A 1968 Yamaha AE-11 blonde archtop.
Clearly styled after the Gibson ES-whatever, this is a much more economical choice.
Let's run thru some specs, ya?
-spruce top (likely laminated)
-maple back, sides, and neck (2 piece neck)
-standard humbuckers (original) w/ PU selector, 2 tone, 2 volume knobs
-original tuners (still fairly functional)
-too-cool-for-school zero fret (actually useful)
-weird, cumbersome, yet slightly cool rosewood and metal original tailpiece
-rosewood neck w/ (likely imitation) mother of pearl
-bound neck, headstock, and body
There is a substantial amount of checking across the guitar. Of course, it is of no detriment to the playability, sound...whathaveyou (and its super cool and attractive).
Aside from that, no deep scratches/blemishes. A couple of dings and nicks on the top, but nothing crazy (see photos).

The neck structure and back brace structure are different from the current LL6 ARE, but the current medium label is a paper label, but this product is characterized by using a luxurious leather label. ..
