Actor Zack Gold Nominated For Biggest Award Web Television Has To Offer With Best Actor In a Comedy Webseries By The International Academy Of Web Television

With Web TV becoming one of the fasting growing forms of entertainment, Zack Gold joins a group of elite actors nominated for The 2012 IAWTV Awards such as Larry King, Julia Stiles and Brent Spiner for his role as “Danny The Heartbreak Strangler” in the hit webseries, Stockholm.

Hollywood, California - November 27th, 2012 — The International Academy of Web Television just released their nominations in all categories for their much anticipated awards show to be held at The Venetian in Las Vegas on January 8th, 2013 in association with CES (Consumer Electronics Association). In the heavy weight category of Best Male Actor in a Comedy, Zack Gold grabs a nomination amongst four other powerhouse actors.

Brent Spiner (formally known for his role as Lieutenant Commander Data in Star Trek: The Next Generation) is nominated in Gold’s category for his new series Fresh Hell as well as internet sensation Jeff Lewis who co-stared with Felicia Day in The Guild.

When asked how he stood out from the thousands of other actors submitted for consideration to receive an IAWTV nomination Zack Gold noted, “The script was brilliant and I was given the liberty to hone in on years of improv training. Together it just worked!” Indie Intertube writer, Sam Gutelle agrees in his recent review of the webseries Stockholm, “Gold combines the insanity of Dexter Morgan and the flitter-free chattiness of Liz Lemon. The writing is top-notch and Gold certainly has the acting chops to pull it off.”

Zack Gold is a notable rising actor in Hollywood having held lead roles in six feature films. This past year he was nominated for Best Actor at the Los Angeles Fear and Fantasy Festival for his role in the movie Fear Lives Here. When off camera, Gold works with Academy Award Winner, Tim Robbins on stage as a member of The Actors’ Gang Theatre Company.
